The M Society’s purpose is to eliminate prejudice and discrimination of the LGBTQ+ community, to celebrate and foster a sense of pride, unity and diversity within the community, and to continually educate and promote awareness of diversity, health, culture, and acceptance of individuals based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. Further, The M Society seeks to promote a positive image of the LGBTQ+ community within the Lenawee County area and neighboring communities through community activities, events, and service. The M Society is a nonprofit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
